EA Hiring Test: Press Release Automation

Hi There! We're happy you made it this far to the final stage of the hiring process.

One of the things we do is we place press releases on Dutch press release distribution platform ANP.
Right now it costs one of our writers around 8 hours/month to make these press releases. We want to comepletely do it with an automation in N8N. You will be invited to a specific N8N automation in which you will create the automation from start to finish.

The output

Final press release generated by your system.
The output must meet these "SEO Linkbuilding" requirements:
  • Relevance: Must mention a specific news trend or be ' newsy '.
  • Link Integration: Both 1 or 2 anchor texts must be integrated into the body of the text in a way that feels editorial, not like an advertisement.
  • Abide by press release rules of the distribution platform:  https://www.anp.nl/regels-en-uitgangspunten-persberichten-en-expertquotes

The workflow

Your workflow must cover the journey from a raw news topic to a finalized, SEO-optimized press release ready for distribution in Dutch.
Input Trigger: How the Data (Website, Anchor Texts, Links) enters the system.
Research & Context: How you ensure the PR is relevant to today’s news (e.g., using AI to scan current headlines).
Drafting Logic: How the AI is instructed to weave in the specific business website and anchor links naturally.
Output: Where the final draft / press release is stored.
Here are the current prompts and context our writer uses:  AI Prompts for Linkbuilding

Task: Build a working version of the automation described above using n8n.
The Data:
  • Business Website:  slaapwijsheid.nl
  • Anchor Text 1:  luchtontvochtiger
  • Anchor Text 2:  luchtbevochtiger
Deliverables:
  • Final automation in N8N
  • A brief Loom "walkthrough" showing the automation running once with the test data above with live output document as well (so in the Loom, you generate the press release with the above data and send that output over as well).
